Nahi, currency ka matlab sirf "nayi note" se nahi hota hai.
Currency ka arth hai kisi bhi desh ka aisa dhan (money) jo us desh mein vyapar (trade), len-den, aur kharid-farokht ke liye adhikarik roop se chalta ho.

Currency mein shamil ho sakte hain:

Note (paper money) – jaise ₹10, ₹50, ₹500 ke note

Sikke (coins) – jaise ₹1, ₹2 ke sikke

Digital currency – jaise UPI, online wallet balance, etc.

Toh agar koi kahe “currency chahiye,” iska matlab ho sakta hai ki usse paisa chahiye – naye ya purane note hone ka usme farq nahi hota, jab tak woh legal tender hai.
